Two numbers every agency should know this week.
What your Medicare periods actually pay, including what your value-based purchasing adjustment costs in dollars, and every OASIS deadline that one start of care sets off. Both run in your browser; nothing you type leaves this page unless you ask us to send you the result.
What your 30-day periods pay
How it's worked out: CMS's CY 2026 national standardized 30-day rate of $2,038.22 (agencies that report quality data; Federal Register 2025-21767) × your case-mix weight × (74.9% × your wage index + 25.1%) × (1 + your HHVBP adjustment). It leaves out LUPA periods (paid per visit), outlier payments, sequestration and partial periods, so it is an estimate, not billing advice.
Every deadline from one start of care
From the Medicare conditions of participation: 42 CFR 484.55 (initial visit within 48 hours of referral; comprehensive assessment no later than 5 calendar days after start of care; update in the last 5 days of every 60 days; within 48 hours of return home from a hospital stay of 24 hours or more) and 42 CFR 484.45 (submit within 30 days of completing the assessment). Day 1 is the start of care date. Check your own policies and the current CMS OASIS guidance manual.
Want this checked against your real census?
We'll send you the result and go over it in a 15-minute call, including what your OASIS timing and PDGM coding look like in SynergyEMR.
